Justin Schmidt, VP of Marketing at Compt joins host Ishaan Shakunt on the latest episode of Hack a Stack: The Saas Tech Stack Show.
As a marketing specialist, Justin noticed that the basic idea of data analysis remains the same and not much has changed. He has been a marketer for fifteen years and has worked for several successful businesses, including one from which he participated in an eventual exit. As the VP of Marketing, he splits time between Capacity and Multiply. Justin has a degree in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Business.
Justin shares how he has contributed to the growth of Compt. He shares his beliefs on the best data management practices, explaining the relationship between systems of engagement and systems of records. He also discusses how data analysis tools like ADX and ABM can be used to study the market and develop strategies that will exponentially give better results.
Justin emphasizes that for a business to be creative in its strategies, it should employ passionate marketing operations nerds.
