Zluri Updates (August): SAML Login, Playbook delay feature , Bulk Onboarding/ offboarding

The month-end calls for new updates from Zluri. Here are some new releases that we have added to our platform this month.

SAML Login

You can now log in to Zluri through SAML. It is available in private beta. To configure SAML, please visit the SSO section on your settings page and select the SAML option. There are multiple steps that need to be followed to configure SAML, which you can find in the help article. You can reach out to the customer success team if you wish to enable SAML for your organization.

Application Requisition Automation Rules

Zluri enables you to automate your employee application requisition process by creating rules and setting up an approval process based on user attributes and applications they are requisitioning for. To create an app requisition automation rule, please visit the workflows -> App requisition section in the Zluri dashboard.

Playbook delay feature

To give you more control over how you wish to run your playbooks, we have introduced the time delay feature. Now you can add a time delay between two particular actions. This will help you account for the sync between two applications and run an action after a sync has been completed.

MFA- Remember this device for 30 days

Zluri supports multi-factor authentication as an extra layer of security for logins. Now you can choose to remember a device for 30 days while verifying your identity.

Bulk Onboarding/offboarding

Onboarding and offboarding multiple users at once have become easier with bulk onboarding/offboarding options. You can select multiple users at once and mark them for onboarding and offboarding.

Break on errors in workflows

Break on error allows you to stop a workflow from executing the next actions when the previous step fails. The workflow halts from running the next steps. Let’s say you create a workflow to onboard a user into Slack first and then add them to certain groups. You can set a break on an error on the first step, which will make sure the action to add the user to groups will be executed if the action to add the user in Slack is successful.

Application-specific default views

Zluri enables users to visualize data the way they want through multiple views. Users can also create custom views and save them as default. However, these views were getting saved as default for all applications. But now, you can set default views to specific applications.

Security & compliance report

Zluri has one of the most advanced security & compliance modules among SaaS Management Platforms, which gives 360-degree visibility into the security and compliance details of each application. Now all the details are available in a report which can be downloaded or scheduled for recurring delivery in your mailbox.

Inactive owners report

Application owners receive all notifications related to contracts of an application, so it becomes important to assign a new owner when an application owner leaves the organization. The inactive owners' report will help keep a tab of all applications with inactive owners.

Mail notification on newly detected applications

We have introduced a notification on newly detected applications. IT admins get notified of new applications that enter their environment to analyze potential vulnerabilities and restrict access. Also, they can keep track of softwares being evaluated by various teams to make timely purchase decisions.
